Is “Cogitations” Correct?
As you can see, I’ve created an anonymous blog. I wanted the user name to be anonymous thoughts but that was already taken. I used the handy dandy online Webster thesaurus to come up with cogitation, which means a single thought. I’m hoping it’s grammatically correct to make it plural.
So why anonymous? For a lot of reasons I don’t want to get into. (My reasons probably would make me less anonymous.) I can tell you this much: I’m not making this anonymous so I can write offensive posts or hurt anyone without them knowing it’s me. In fact, some of my reasons are the exact opposite. And so, I hope you will be understanding and not judgmental when it comes to my anonymous cogitations.

See, I would have used the word “cognations” , but a quick look-up of that showed me it was totally the wrong word… You know better.
